Tier 2 Port Definitions

All users should be connecting to port 14580, the Client-Defined Filter port.

If you connect to anther port, you will probably not achieve the desired result. It is also a good idea to check the status page of the server you are connected with for additional information. The status pages of the Tier 2 servers are always on port 14501, e.g. http://socal.aprs2.net:14501/

If you connect to port 14580 and don't send a filter, you will not receive any data from the server. However, it will upload your data.
