T2FRANCE APRS-IS Server Information

My server with the ID T2FRANCE is part of the APRS-IS Tier 2 Server Network. Please use france.aprs2.net:14580 for all connections. The server has DNS records for IPv4 and IPv6. If you want to force an IPv6 connection, use france.ipv6.aprs2.net. An example how to IPv6-connect UI-View is given here.

The server uses the most recent javAPRSFilter filter version. Starting with the filter version 3.1 all callsigns and prefixes are case sensitive!

Available Ports
Port Number	Description	Comment
14580	User-defined Filtered Feed	Please read the filter document and limit the region to show what you really want to see. You can always change the filter settings manually when you are connected. See above for examples of the commands. Send them simply as messages to T2FRANCE on the Internet. You get a confirmation back. N.B.: If you do NOT specify a filter, you can send information, but will not receive anything from the server.
8080	UDP & HTTP Post Ports	Good for mobile phones or other send-only stations, e.g. WX stations and other telemetry.

Please use port 14580 and customize your stream. Use your regional feed to backup your favorite server in case of problems.
This approach will allow us to improve the availability and reliability of the whole network for your benefit.
The server will not send you any data without logon.
Callsign validation is not required; you can use -1 as validation number for an unvalidated user. In this case you can not act as an IGATE and can not send messages via the Internet stream.
